### The Clusters

# Environment

#### The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) “…is determined to protect the planet from degradation, through sustainable consumption and production, sustainably managing its natural resources and taking urgent action on climate change, so that it can support the needs of the present and future generations.”  Real action towards addressing environmental challenges and opportunities requires stepping up, and the questions that arise are significant, and need to be understood at every level.  The coming together of private/corporate and NGO/public world will entail crossing a theoretical and applied Rubicon to meet on the other side and in a better place.
