About us

worldXchange foundation

The worldXchange foundation, a not-for-profit organisation*, originated from a two-year pilot initiated by Lorna McDowell, founder of the Xenergie Group, and Simon Bazalgette, former Chair of the Grubb Institute of Behavioural Studies, in 2021.

The pilot, called Clusters, united 100+ individuals globally to collaborate on a number of initiatives aimed at achieving 'the greater good', addressing topics such as empowering young leaders, digital transformation and education. The Clusters’ work was highly recognised by the jury of Business Culture Awards and also by the European Integral Community.

Our purpose

worldXchange foundation’s strength lies in leveraging diverse experiences and perspectives to operate from a whole-system view. This systemic approach unlocks value trapped within the system, enabling more effective use of existing resources to create prototypes that broaden solutions for addressing both current and future challenges, especially with the surge in polarised views.

We do this by:

Developing leadership skills to harness collaborative opportunities empowering partners to see with fresh eyes and break through the boundaries of their current thinking. This new freedom reframes problems and game-changes approaches, resulting in a shift of the dial AND better outcomes for all involved.

Facilitating social value building bridges to unite individuals, businesses and charities, to cultivate new collaborative opportunities. We break down barriers to champion inclusivity, capture ‘missing’ voices and foster wider impact.

The steering group

The team at the worldXchange foundation has extensive experience in transformative collaboration, enabling a holistic learning approach that moves beyond the gridlock of debate. Our steering group comprises both practitioners and organisational leaders with a passion for making a difference.

Our global network of systemic practitioners and participating organisations harness the power of collective intelligence to scale and embed new ways of working.
